Contractor position. This role is offered on an independent contractor basis, not as employment. Correct Staffing pays you twice a month for the hours you work.

About the role
Correct Staffing is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time contract placement at a care centre in Kamloops, BC. You will be part of the care team supporting residents across days, evenings, nights and weekends, at a strong rate of $51 per hour. This is independent contractor work through Correct Staffing.
What you will do
- Provide safe, person-centred nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor their effects
- Complete assessments and contribute to care plans
- Provide wound care and other clinical procedures within the LPN scope
- Lead and support health care aides on your shift
- Document care accurately and report changes to the RN and care team
- Communicate with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team
What you need
- Minimum 2 years of LPN experience in long-term care (required)
- Active LPN registration with BCCNM, in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certificate
- WHMIS and FoodSafe certificates
- Up-to-date immunization record and TB test
- RAI/MDS certificate, or willingness to complete it
- Availability for rotating shifts, including weekends
